We’ve been working flat out for the last couple of weeks processing and dispatching all of your orders, but wanted to take a moment to flag that our final order date for Christmas postal delivery is almost upon us!
If your order is being delivered by post, you’ll need to order before 8pm tomorrow, Wednesday 16th December to receive your items before the 24th. Orders placed after this time may still be collected from the shop and biked out locally, but we’ll no longer be able to guarantee postal delivery before Christmas.
We will continue to offer bike delivery to addresses in E5, E8, E9, N1, and N16 for orders placed by 8pm 23rd December for in stock items only. Our last bike deliveries will be on 24th December. If you are unsure about whether or not a particular book is in stock, please refer to the webshop or contact us for a backorder estimate.
Also some quick reminders regarding visiting the shop:
Our social distancing procedures remain in place – two-person limit, hand sanitiser at the door, masks required, contactless payments only – and we ask that you continue to observe these important measures when you visit. Our opening times are:
Monday – Friday: 10am – 8pm
Saturday: 10am – 6pm
Sunday: 11am – 6pm
December is always an exceptionally busy time in the shop, and with the two-person limit we are seeing frequent queues. Please remember the following to ensure we can continue to help as many people as possible:
- Shop early – plan ahead, ask for recommendations, request books, and order well in advance, in short… try not to leave everything till the last minute!
- Click and collect – browse our shelves, order online, and collect in person
- Please follow the government’s guidance to shop alone, where possible
- While you are browsing in person, please be aware of those waiting outside and try to make your visit as efficient as possible
